We're working to raise $100,000 to support the foundational science behind the statewide effort, including identifying suitable habitat, mapping current beaver occupancy, and finding the places where restoration could make the greatest impact. Additional funding will help expand the project through coordination, community science, outreach, website development, and long-term oversight.
We already have the first $15K pledged toward the Wyoming Beaver Conservation Project. Additional support will help turn this into a statewide, collaborative conservation effort.

Every contribution can help move this work from science to action and support a future with more healthy, beaver-occupied wetlands across Wyoming. Online giving opportunities are coming soon. In the meantime, if you're interested in supporting this project or learning more about making a gift, please contact BI Director Brent Ewers at beewers@uwyo.edu.
